Where to get your billing files
Choose your AI provider and follow the steps. You can download the files yourself, then upload them above.

Download Activity and Cost data for the same period.

- Open OpenAI Platform → Usage and sign in.
- Select the right organization, project and date range.
- Click Export → Activity data. Choose Model and CSV, then download.
- Click Export → Cost data. Choose Line item, the same dates and CSV.
- Upload both files together into AI Cost Auditor.

Important: This is API billing, not your ChatGPT Plus/Pro subscription. Activity has requests and tokens; Cost has billed amounts.

- Open OpenRouter → Activity → Explore and sign in.
- Select your reporting period and set Group by: Model.
- Select Spend (Total usage), then choose Options → Download CSV.
- Repeat for Request count, Prompt tokens and Completion tokens.
- Save the four files with the names below, then upload them together.

These filename keywords matter: they tell the auditor which metric each CSV contains.
Important: Use the same dates for all four charts. The supported CSV shape contains model and value. No API key is needed.

- Open Claude Console → Usage and sign in.
- Choose All Workspaces, All Models and the month you need. If API-key filters are shown, include all relevant keys.
- Click Export CSV and save the file as
anthropic_usage.csv. - Open Claude Console → Cost ↗ and use the same filters and dates.
- Click Export CSV and save the file as
anthropic_cost.csv. - Upload both files together into AI Cost Auditor.

Important: Claude Pro/Max chat subscriptions are not API spending. Console CSV exports are official, but their column layouts can differ. If your CSV isn't recognized, use the advanced Usage + Cost API JSON option ↗. Never share API keys.

Open Google Cloud Billing ↗Step by step
- Open Google Cloud Billing and sign in to the account used for Gemini API.
- Select the right billing account and open Reports.
- Choose the date range that includes your Gemini API usage.
- Set Group by: SKU to get a breakdown of charges.
- Choose Download CSV and save it as
gemini_billing_sku.csv. - Upload the file into AI Cost Auditor.

Important: Select a paid Gemini API billing account if you have one. Do not enable billing just to use this auditor. Other Google Cloud services are excluded, and some exports don't include token counts.
